Hello mr. Stanton and others,

My copy of the Gnoll Credo just arrived today with the post. I'm so full of expectation because of your stories and shared insights. I'm quite new to all of this but already i've got this feeling of excitement of finding a new and sensible direction of this life( mind and body). I ate for the first time in my life a T-bone steak for breakfast and i felt goooooooooooood.:-). If it's allright by you i would like to share the experiences wich i encounter on this new journey.

Yours sincerly

Dave

Dave:

You're always welcome to share your thoughts here, whether about diet, the greater issues of evolutionary discordance, The Gnoll Credo, or anything else.

Thanx JS,

One of the first experiences is that i encounter a couple of negative symptoms when i eat leafy vegetables like salads or spinach( all raw), which i don't have when i eat meat eggs, cheese or nuts. I'm a little bit insecure about what to do because a belief is that veggies are good for you especially the leafy ones, right? The symptoms are itchy, burning skin(no rash), fuzzieness, brain fog, fatigue, sore muscles, little anxiousness. I always thought it was hypoglycemia but when i measure my bloodlevels(home kit) than the results show a flat line when interconnected during days. Anyway i skipped all the grains and sugars from my diet and maybe i'm recovering and am a little impatient. The first days i did this a incredible amount of energy flowed throuhg my body and i lost within two weeks 10 lbs.

My conviction is now that i've lived a body- and mindimparing life for about 25 years now. I am 43 now and i think i've found a way back to health. Can you share your thoughts on this?

Dave.

Ps. Forgive me my not so flawless English. I will get better at this i promise.:-)

Dave:

Food allergies and intolerances are often caused or made worse by gluten grain consumption.  Over the coming months, you may find that your bad reactions diminish.

However, there's no reason to be in a hurry.  If leafy veggies make you feel terrible, stop eating them for a while!  There's never been any study that shows "5 a day" (or whatever) actually makes anyone live longer.

The dutch gnoll of the flatlands is back.

Well after 9 weeks of doing lc/paleo eating i can say that i've lost 24.7 lbs!!!! Without feeling bad. Actually i ;m feeling better than for a long time. The paleo lifestyle is gaining some momentum here in the Netherlands and off course everybody wants to know how i do it. The answer is just eat meat!!! Then the well known objections follow. I ignore them.

I've read the GC. I like it and gonna read it again.

Dave:

25# is a lot of weight to lose...that's almost three pounds per week, which is quick progress by anyone's standard.  Congratulations!

Feel free to share your thoughts on TGC whenever you're ready.
